Ljubljana - MAY 13
#Fuksi
The second #FUKSi of this season will be a treat for techno lovers: CHRIS LIEBING has been one of the noblest names in dance electronics for 30 years; the favorite of Carl Cox, Adam Beyer and Charlotte De Witte - ANFISA LETYAGO - is finally coming to her first sunny performance from the Alps; the terrain will be prepared for them by the ever-excellent and internationally increasingly penetrating Slovenian techno-valkira GLIA..
Klub k4 Ljubljana, Slovenia
Although CHRIS LIEBING is a favorite of the Slovenian audience, which never disappoints, the main story of this year's #FUKSi episode is the premiere Slovenian performance of the hot Neapolitan woman. ANFISA LETYAGO is conquering dance arenas with its own production and remixes, as well as energetic performances, and is rapidly rising to the top of the world techno scene.
Chris Liebing has always been and still is synonymous with techno with ‘eggs’, deftly strolling between dark and euphoric hues, without overly flirting with the mainstream, handing out on Instagram and finding shortcuts by signing under refreshed foreign classics. He has cultivated the electronic music scene since the early 1990s as a regularly awarded DJ, producer, radio show creator, club owner and manager, and curator of two acclaimed record labels (CLR and Spinclub). He was and remains one of the most noble representatives of the classical Frankfurt techno school (heavily upgraded with the influences of Berlin and Ibiza), his sound is constantly evolving, but does not deviate from what he is recognizable, although he is constantly adapting to trends and exploring new technologies . In recent years, even with partial in-time sound manipulation, he has honed his performances technically and creatively to the point that each is unique and practically unrepeatable. He belongs to the top first world league of techno, and despite his youthful energy and enthusiasm, he is also one of the oldest electronic dance scene in terms of years and experience..
After a decade of hardening on the Naples techno scene, which traditionally strongly directs the taste of the Slovenian audience, Anfisa has reached a stage where it is being written about and talked about as the next big techno star. She is the third most followed techno artist on Instagram and among the 15 most listened to techno artists on Spotify, and her music is regularly released by renowned labels such as Kompakt, Intec and Second State (Pan-Pot). Among her most prominent supporters are Carl Cox - at the release of the Top 100 DJs he singled her out as a newcomer in 2019 - Adam Beyer and Charlotte De Witte. If not before, you must have noticed her with the release of the hit 'So Good', with the iconic sample of Loleatte Holloway's 'Love Sensation', one of her last firecrackers is a wonderful rendition of Moby's classic 'Go', and at the beginning of the year Chris Liebing. Anfisa's sound is a mixture of hard techno marches, deep house groove and other underground spices.
Lately, our most penetrating techno DJ is developing well as a producer, and she is even better behind the mixer. An excellent performance with Umek at the Maribor Terminalfest last year brought her her first invitation to the #FUKSi festival, where she warmed up the field for Deborah De Luca, and is returning to the crime scene after a successful tour in Lisbon, where she performed with the infamous 999999999.
